Everview Retreat overlooks the vineyards of Cowra Station, McGuigan , Goorie Park and Windowrie Estate Wineries. Uninterrupted 360 degree views of the Lachlan Valley showcase the breathtaking backdrop of the Weddin Mountains, Mount Canobolis and Mount Lewis. The ever changing valley provides a patch work of unsurpassed beauty with vineyards, olive groves and market gardens.

The Retreat is located 12km west of Billimari between Cowra (33 km) and Canowindra (18km). The Lachlan River is about 1 km away. From Sydney and Canberra, you will find it close enough for short getaways or longer breaks.

Small groups of friends will share a memorable social time together as they indulge in all the region has to offer. Newly married couples or those wanting a romantic escape for those special occasions, will find Everview Retreat a unique place to stay. You can expect a totally private and luxurious experience in the confidence that your time together will be uninterrupted. Spectacular photographic opportunities exist for wedding parties.

Inspired by the charm of Welsh stone cottages and having the desire to create accommodation which is truly unique to the area, construction of the cottages began in 2003. Stonemasons constructed the cottages using basalt and granite harvested from the site. Sandstone has been used for the feature windows sills, whilst blue stone corners are included in 'Gwynfyd Cottage'.

An ongoing project, the gardens have been planted with both natives and exotic plants. Each garden is edged with rocks and features private key hole areas for our guest's enjoyment. Everview Retreat also has a Stone Circle with three large standing stones towards the north, west and east.

We have noticed over time that our black alpacas, 'Bill and Ben', and the sheep they guard, often rest in the stone circle as though it is a safe and peaceful place to be. You may also enjoy the antics of resident miniature pony Charm, and Shetland pony Faddy as they graze in the paddocks beyond your cottage.
